For sure, the WWE is seriously invested in Grayson Waller. No one just casually gets to mention The Rock’s name on WWE programming these days. However, the Aussie Icon just did that on SmackDown this week. During a backstage interview with Cathy Kelly, Waller claimed that he had The Great One’s attention.

Referring to getting a reply on Twitter from The Rock, the Australian wrestler lowkey owned The People’s Champ. He said that The Rock’s own family is imploding every week on SmackDown. However, instead of taking that into consideration, The Great One is worried about him. Calling The Rock desperate to receive a rub from Grayson Waller, he told The Black Adam star where he could find him.

As is known, both Waller and Rock made their in-ring debuts at Madison Square Garden. The WWE legend’s outfit from that night got trolled by Waller on Twitter a few days ago. He called it cringe and made quite a mockery of that. Surprisingly, The People’s Champ decided to step into the matter. Known for his indomitable dictionary of disses, The Rock first admitted that his debut gear was indeed cringe.

However, in the very next line, Dwayne told Waller what’s even more cringe. And just like that, he regarded The Dynamite from Down Under as someone who dropped out of jabroni’s balloon knot. The Hollywood Icon gave props to the Moment Maker for his haircut but called him an “Outback Jack Off” too. This rare engagement from The Brahma Bull received wide attention from his votaries all around.

Will The Rock return to WWE?

This topic always remains in trend. Every year, fans collect hope for The Rock’s WWE return and end up disappointed. This year too, rumors started swirling around in the market during the WrestleMania season. People believed that due to WrestleMania being in Hollywood, The Great One might actually wrestle at the event. However, as it turned out, Dwayne Johnson’s ridiculously packed schedule kept him off WWE once again.

However, a slight ray of hope has emerged regarding The Rock’s potential comeback to WWE. As is known, Hollywood is amidst widespread protest right now. The filmmakers and actors have joined forces to launch a strike after the SAG-AFTRA negotiations collapsed. That pretty much opens a slight window for names like Dwayne Johnson and John Cena to consider a brief wrestling return at this juncture.

While there might be tons of other variables that come into play, fans are hoping against hope. There’s a need to admit that Dwayne’s chances are still quite dim to consider a wrestling return. However, for someone like John Cena, who always frees up his schedule to visit his WWE family, it’s much more realistic.
