A certain SmackDown newbie has poked The Texas Rattlesnake. The guy being talked about is none other than Grayson Waller. It’s only been just over a month since he has been on the main roster. However, Waller has managed to create an identity of his own. Though his ways might be wacky, who cares if they are working? The Aussie Icon has been on a roll since Money in the Bank. 

After having unprecedented encounters against John Cena and Edge, he pulled The Rock’s leg on Twitter. Still hungry for more, the 33-year-old has now mocked Stone Cold. Earlier today, Waller tweeted out a clip of his finishing maneuver, named the Rolling Ace Crusher. It looks like a modified version of the Stunner. Highlighting the same, Grayson wrote, “Waller 3:16 says this is the best Stunner variation of all time.”

If not as clear as the rain, it was a direct shot at Steve Austin. Over the years, numerous superstars have tried enacting the legendary finishing maneuver popularized by the Bionic Redneck. At present, Kevin Owens uses the ‘Stone Cold Stunner’ as his finisher. Owens and Austin had a remarkable showdown at WrestleMania last year. So one way or another, the Prizefighter has Austin’s nod to use the Stunner.

On the other hand, Grayson Waller has been using the Rolling Ace Crusher for a while now. Needless to say, it looks absolutely devastating and effective. However, the fact that Waller felt the need to drag the WWE legend into this says something. Maybe the Moment Maker is desperate for that Stone Cold rub.

Is WWE planning for a Steve Austin-Grayson Waller faceoff?

WWE reps are sky-high on Grayson Waller. They’re reportedly going ‘all hands on-deck’ for the Australian wrestler. That being said, Waller has been receiving some early praise in his main-roster journey. After putting on an impressive fight against Edge at Madison Square Garden, it appears like Steve Austin is the next legend to trade barbs with Waller. 

Boozer 666 reported a few days ago through his private account that WWE is planning for an undisclosed name to get a rub from Stone Cold. Without stressing too much, it’s apparently Grayson Waller. Supporting their report, Xero News further stated that Austin is being planned as a future guest on The Grayson Waller Show. 

Most probably, that segment could happen at SummerSlam next month. If that really ends up happening, it would be a win-win situation for everyone. Right now, there’s no word on WWE’s plans for The Dynamite from Down Under in Detroit. However, that will receive more clarity in the coming days.
