Grayson Waller is starting up his career on the main roster and has gained quite a bit of traction in a short time. The reason is his heel persona and mic skills, which have made the Arrogant Aussie one of the most prominent stars. While speaking of his journey toward his dream of being a professional wrestler, Grayson took out a page from his books. He stated that traveling around the world for his passion for wrestling has turned into a nightmare after being in Alabama.
Grayson Waller wrote his heart out on X and recalled his time in Australia. He reminded the WWE Universe by stating that he used to think about traveling the US and wrestling all the way. But the latest WWE live event in Huntsville, Alabama, that happened on Sunday made his dream feel like a nightmare.
The event at Huntsville saw him team up with Austin Theory to take on Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar. His loss against the face team and loud boos from the crowd made him channel his heel persona. The earlier match between Rey and Austin for the United States Championship saw Waller’s interruption.
The 33-year-old’s talk show, Grayson Waller Effect, has seen huge superstars as guests. But his in-ring performances have seen him mostly involved in the mid-card feud on SmackDown. It will be interesting to know what’s in store for Waller as he looks to showcase his heel tactics and impressive performance.

LWO will face Grayson Waller and Austin Theory on SmackDown 9/1

The go-home episode of SmackDown before Payback will happen on September 1st. The United States Championship rematch will be happening on Payback, but the hype for it will be built around that episode with a tag team match. As the champion, Rey Mysterio will be involved in a bout against the challenger, Austin Theory.
A tag team match involving LWO’s own Santos Escobar will see him team up with Mysterio. While the heel team will have Grayson Waller’s support to back Theory in the bout. The match being built around these competitors will somehow see progress even after Payback, no matter the outcome of the championship match.
There are rumors that Theory will be turning face sooner or later for the sake of his storylines. A step in this direction has already been taken, as he has lost the championship while ending his 258-day reign to the fan-favorite star. The turn can happen after or during Payback, but the decision will heavily depend on fans’ reactions to Theory.
