33-year-old Superstar savagely mocks Carlito’s previous WWE talk show, sends the unlikeliest of welcome notes
The dust has yet to settle on Carlito's WWE return, and he's already made an enemy in the form of Grayson Waller.

Just over 24 hours ago, Carlito made his highly anticipated WWE return at Fastlane. When the LWO was in deep waters against the trio of Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits, the Carribean Cool saved the day for the Rey Mysterio-led side. Now that it’s all said and done, Carlito’s comeback feels like a full-circle moment. Everyone’s pumped for his current run.
However, it appears like someone from SmackDown can’t wait to have him on the show. Shortly ago, Grayson Waller took to his X account and extended his unapologetic greeting to Carlito. At first, Waller innocuously accepted the former US Champ’s expected arrival on the blue brand. However, turning the tables in the very next sentence, The Aussie Icon didn’t waste any time mocking Carlito’s old WWE talk show, Carlito’s Cabana.
If one looks at it, the 33-year-old’s Grayson Waller Effect and Carlito’s Cabana possess a tad bit of similarity. The inclusion of palm trees in both is what makes it easy to compare. However, Grayson Waller dismissed such claims, if any, and said that Carlito’s Cabana is just a poor man’s Grayson Waller Effect. As of now, the assumed LWO member hasn’t responded yet.
Most probably, Carlito will be on this week’s SmackDown in some capacity, as he has a full-time contract with WWE. It all feels like 2006 again, with Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Bobby Lashley, and now Carlito being a part of the SmackDown brand.
What Triple H thinks of Carlito’s full-time WWE return?
Carlito signed with WWE over the summer, but his return was delayed until there was a specific purpose. Although he appeared as the third member of the Latino World Order at Fastlane, it’s unclear if he has officially joined the group. WWE might push him as a singles competitor or have him join the LWO in the future.
Speaking of which, Triple H also commented on Carlito’s return during the Fastlane post-show press conference. The WWE Hall of Famer said that Carlito’s homecoming was long overdue, and he’s excited to see how the veteran fares in this stint.
“The return of Carlito tonight, long overdue and very excited for him. As he would say, ‘That’s cool. You know, just excited to have him back excited to have him back home, and excited to see what he can what he can do on this run,” Hunter said.
