Since arriving on the main roster, Gunther has become a formidable force of nature to be dealt with. One chop from him can instantly shatter his opponents’ dream of securing a win. What’s more glorifying is the recent incidents of Gunther with Pat McAfee that completely changed the latter’s behavior. Pat was seen doing an unusual pose on Raw before Gunther’s match against Dominik Mysterio.
Gunther took to X to quote “Punter!” and attached a video where Pat McAfee is seen showing appreciation for The Ring General. Pat stood on the announcer’s desk with one hand high in a pose resembling Imerium’s stance. The complete change in behavior in the sports analyst is shocking who was seen scared for life by Gunther a few weeks ago.
The first interaction took place between the sports analyst and the Intercontinental Champion when the former was seen dancing to Jey Uso’s music. This incident took place before The Champion defended his coveted Title against Jey Uso. McAfee’s enjoyment was cut short after the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion gave him a death stare.

In the aftermath of their staredown, Pat was spotted backstage with the 36-year-old Superstar. The veteran commentator, Michael Cole shared an image stating how the former football punter was seen “kissing a**” of Gunther. Surprisingly, in the main event of Raw this week, the kickoff specialist again stood on the desk and danced to Jey’s entrance song while chanting “Yeet”.
Wrestling veteran Bully Ray discusses Gunther’s WrestleMania directions
Raw Superstars Sami Zayn, Chad Gable, Shinsuke Nakamura, JD McDonagh, Ricochet, and Bronson Reed will battle next week in a Gauntlet Match. The winner will face Gunther at The Showcase of The Immortals. Former WWE Superstar and veteran Bully Ray recently appeared on an episode of Busted Open Radio. He discussed the possible outcome of the match.
The former WWE stated how Sami must punch his WrestleMania ticket in his final chance. According to him, the duo of Zayn and Gunther can deliver a quality match. Moreover, he stated how Gunther vs. Chad Gable III would be classic for The Grandest Stage of Them All considering how close Gable came to beating him.
We have Sami Zayn's storyline of how this is his final opportunity to get to WrestleMania. However, a part of me wants to see [Chad] Gable-Gunther three. Shinsuke is a great choice if they want Gunther to be a full-blown babyface because Shinsuke works wonderfully as a heelBully Ray on Gunther’s possible opponent at WrestleMania XL
Ray stated how WWE might be possibly turning Gunther face after booking him in a match with Dominik Mysterio, who is a massive heat magnet. Furthermore, WWE might swerve the WWE Universe and have Shinsuke Nakamura win the match. All the six Superstars will enter into a gruesome battle to walk out with a guaranteed WrestleMania match.
