“I just won’t be responding for the next 2 or 3 weeks” – WWE universe worried as Hall of Famer Billy Graham to undergo yet another surgery
Billy Graham
Billy Graham, a WWE Hall of Famer known as “Superstar,” has shared some bad news about his health on his official Facebook page. The former WWWF Heavyweight Champion revealed that he has infections in his toes and that his surgeon will have to do partial amputations.
Billy Graham stated that he will be out of commission for two to three weeks as he recovers from surgeries that require his entire attention to heal. In December 2020, he was admitted to the hospital with an infection in his big toe. As of now, nothing concrete is known about the surgery dates but understandably, it’s about to happen by June end or early July. Because, Billy himself said that he won’t be responding on social media for 2-3 weeks.
He wrote, “I have some infections in a few toes and my Mayo Clinic surgeon must do some partial amputations. This is going to take some time to recover from so I will be offline for a while. If you good folks out there have any photos or thoughts you would like to put up in the meantime my FB is open for business. I just won’t be responding for the next 2 or 3 weeks, I have to heal up in between surgeries and it takes full concentration.”

Billy Graham has had a long history of health issues
Billy Graham has had a long history of health problems. After being diagnosed with liver cirrhosis in 2002, he got a liver transplant. In 2006, he was admitted to the hospital again due to a bowel obstruction induced by a previous procedure.
The former NWA Florida Heavyweight Champion’s 2010s didn’t go any better for him, as he was once again brought to the hospital with liver difficulties. He was diagnosed with the third-stage liver disease this time, and Billy Graham was informed he only had a few months to live. Graham even made plans to be buried near Eddie Guerrero, who died in a car accident. He was brought to the hospital in 2013 and again in 2014 due to liver concerns, before being admitted in 2016 due to an internal hemorrhage.
Graham made his pro wrestling debut in 1970 and went on to wrestle for Stampede Wrestling, the American Wrestling Association (AWA), WWE, and the NWA before signing a WWE Legends contract in 2015.
In 1987, at a WWE house show, he was defeated by Butch Reed in his final recorded match in pro wrestling. Graham was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Triple H in 2004, and his final appearance in the business was in 2006 when he appeared on “Raw” to promote the publication of his book “Tangled Ropes” and a DVD about his career.
