The Bloodline (via WWE)
The Bloodline is arguably the biggest ongoing storyline in WWE at the moment. Over the past three years, SmackDown, for the most part, has been centered around Roman Reigns and his faction. Therefore, producing the segments and matches that involve the dominant stable is a crucial task behind the scenes.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful revealed that Michael Hayes works as a producer for almost all Bloodline-related segments. As many might know, the legend has worked backstage and gained a more prominent role after Vince McMahon’s departure. Since then, it seems that Hayes has become a leader of sorts behind the scenes. Moreover, he is helping the likes of Bobby Roode, who supposedly has started his role as a WWE producer as of late.
Also, a report from Fightful Select gave an update about Roman Reigns’ status amid Triple H gaining full creative control and Vince McMahon seemingly losing any power. According to it, there is no change regarding the Tribal Chief’s on-screen character. For the past few years, Reigns has heavily worked on the Bloodline storyline alongside the Wise Man, Paul Heyman.
As many might know, Vince McMahon was crucial to the rise of Roman Reigns. The WWE Chairman has favored the former Shield member since his debut on the main roster. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how things play out from here on.
Kofi Kingston calls Roman Reigns one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time
Without a doubt, Roman Reigns has had a remarkable rise in the WWE. After debuting on the main roster alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in 2012, many fans saw the potential withheld by him. Fast forward eleven years later, and the Tribal Chief is the longest-reigning World Champion of the century. Recently, Kofi Kingston spoke about Reigns’ legacy in professional wrestling.
During an interview with the Toronto Sun, he claimed that the Bloodline leader is one of the greatest of all time.
When it goes down in the history books, you’ll look back at Roman Reigns and think of him in the same vein as The Undertakers, the John Cenas, and all the top guys. It’s been really amazing to watch that whole Bloodlines saga.Kofi Kingston on Toronto Sun
Previously, John Cena stated that Roman Reigns is the “greatest of all time” from his perspective. Obviously, looking at his current historic run, it is hard to argue that the 38-year-old doesn’t belong among the all-time greats.
