“When I hit it, it was like, a huge reaction of shock, guttural boos” – Happy Corbin recalls when he slammed Becky Lynch with End of Days move

It’s not an everyday affair for the WWE to host intergender fights. However, every now and then it happens. A similar incident took place during the 2019 Winner Takes All Extreme Rules Match. On that occasion, Happy Corbin took Lacey Evans’ side to challenge real-life couple Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. The Universal and Raw Women’s Championships titles were at stake in the game.
At the end of the day, it was Becky Lynch and Rollins who had the last laugh. However, something interesting happened during the fight. Happy Corbin, who was previously called Baron Corbin, acknowledged that he hit Becky with his signature move, which is dubbed the “End of Days.”
Recently, Corbin appeared on a podcast where he spoke about the match and how he came up with the thought of attacking Lynch with End of Days.
He said, “It was one of the weirdest reactions I’ve ever experienced. You could hear the anticipation when I was kind of standing behind her, but then when I hit it, it was like, a huge reaction of shock, right? Then it went really quiet when they realized what just happened. And then it was just like, guttural boos.”
Is Becky Lynch prepared to fight at Money in the Bank?

Becky Lynch is very busy these days. She has been fighting regularly. For instance, on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Lynch defeated multiple big-name superstars to a book a berth at this year’s MITB, which is scheduled to happen in a few days.
Apart from Becky Lynch, others to have qualified for the event are Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Liv Morgan, Shotzi, Raquel Rodriguez, and Lacey Evans. As expected, it would be one of the biggest fights of the evening that the WWE Universe is eager to witness.
Becky Lynch has never before won any MITB title. So, she would be thrilled to make history this time by leaving the ring with the briefcase.
