The 16-time World Champion John Cena has been a top name in WWE for almost two decades. He has been the ambassador of the promotion across the world. However, Hollywood actor and former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. has accused the Cenation Leader of not wanting him in the company due to his Hollywood affiliation.
While speaking on “Wrestling with Freddie Prinze,” the former WWE writer revealed that John Cena mocked him due to his Hollywood associations. ”He just didn’t like me, and I thought that was funny because I knew he would end up in Hollywood one day. And he was like, ‘Hollywood stinks.” You shouldn’t even be here, Mr. Hollywood,” said Freddie Prinze.
The 47-year-old actor worked for WWE as a writer from 2008 to 2012. He was a top producer in the company and also worked with top stars of the era, including names such as Edge and John Cena. However, his Hollywood association was always an eyesore for the Cenation Leader. Prinze Jr. claimed that he received an unpleasant welcome from the WWE legend.
John Cena is a megastar in Hollywood right now and has been a part of some of the biggest projects like The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, and Ferdinand. The Franchise Player has been regularly appearing on SmackDown. He is in a feud with The Bloodline as of now. It will be interesting to see John Cena return to Hollywood after the end of SAG-AFTRA.

John Cena has been playing a crucial role in episodes of SmackDown lately as he is involved in a feud with The Bloodline. He has brought a certain amount of star power to the WWE. However, according to pro wrestling legends, Roman Reigns will play a crucial role in the departure of John Cena at the end of the strike in Hollywood.
Jim Cornette recently shed light on the importance of Roman Reigns on SmackDown. The WWE veteran commented on John Cena’s potential departure from the company after the actor’s strike came to an end. He said that Roman Reigns will eventually fulfill the star power upon his return that the Franchise Player brings to SmackDown.
“A lot of people are wondering what he’s going to be saying about a lot of things. So, again, the star power is continuing—that when the strike is over, he’s got to get back to production. But they got Roman Reigns coming back into the pipeline, and they’ve got access to other names that people recognize,” said Jim Cornette.
John Cena is one of the greatest of all time in WWE. However, he is a part-time wrestler now as he is pursuing a career in Hollywood. Roman Reigns returned to SmackDown this week after a long hiatus. Both superstars were involved in a heated confrontation on SmackDown. Currently, both Roman and Cena are rumored to be part of the upcoming Crown Jewel event.
