Tuesday Night NXT has been one of the most exciting shows in all of wrestling right now. In the NXT Women’s Championship Becky Lynch brings a lot of eyeballs and elevates her performance day by day. NXT No Mercy saw a rematch for the title with Tiffany Stratton and her putting in one hell of a main event. The Extreme Rules stipulation became the highlight of that night and saw a moment where Lynch saved Stratton from an injury spot.
During the ending moments, Tiffany Stratton had gained momentum and had smashed Becky at the ringside. Stratton had laid Lynch down and went on the top rope to perform a Swanton on her through the table. Tiffany was successful in the move but landed slightly ahead and did not have her body collapse on her. The next step saw some help from Becky’s end to save Tiffany from further injury.
A post on X shows how it happened and states that Lynch grabbed Tiffany to disallow her from going with the momentum. The post shows the incredible spot in slow motion and shows how Lynch prevented Stratton’s injury. “This is the stuff they do to protect each other???,” was the caption written to praise both stars.
The gruesome match happened in the main event of the show and garnered the best reviews. The aftermath saw both stars injured with Tiffany bleeding even during the bout while Becky suffered 11 stitches to her arm. Both the women stayed true to the stipulation and went extreme with the given rules of the matchup.

AEW Collision dips down low due to NXT No Mercy
The 8 p.m. ET Saturday slot for professional wrestling was stacked for this weekend. AEW’s two-hour weekly show Collision went ahead with NXT No Mercy. The hyped show of WWE came out as an absolute banger and dominated AEW completely. The reported viewership of Collision gained 328,000 and a .08 rating.
In the Saturday Night show’s history of three months, this episode has garnered the lowest viewership. Even after the hype for AEW WrestleDream was built for the final time with the Go Home episode of Collision, it suffered heavily due to No Mercy. College football also proves to be the reason for Collision’s downfall.
The hour-long pre-taped show AEW Rampage has managed to gain 363,000 viewers with a .14 rating. This shows how AEW is struggling to get eyeballs on TNT and TBS when WWE continues to grow and dominate on USA and FOX networks. WWE Fastlane airing live on Saturday will also affect this week’s Collision.
