There’s always a plan-B. WWE had created a problem this year with two red-hot acts in the form of Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn. Many fans thought the company would fumble their main-events for WrestleMania 39 after getting caught in such a situation where both of the aforementioned names are drawing numbers for them. However, they finally made the correct decision and decided to have Cody Rhodes in that spot instead of Sami Zayn.

That doesn’t mean the creative has nothing for the Syrian wrestler. In fact, he’s set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber. Zayn will enjoy an unreal home crowd support from Montreal on February 18th.

There’s no doubt that the Canada born superstar is the most over act in WWE right now. However, to wipe off any prevailing doubts for the former Honorary Uce, it appears like the company is planning something special for Sami Zayn. As per a recent leak from Xero News, tonight’s Monday Night Raw episode is expected to put over Sami Zayn in a huge way. And the festivities will be carried out by none other than Cody Rhodes.

As seen from last week’s promo, the American Nightmare has the utmost respect for Zayn. He even declared that there might be the case when Reigns won’t be able to enter WrestleMania with those Undisputed titles. If that happens, the WWE Universe will witness Sami Zayn defend the gold against Dusty’s baby boy, however, this is almost next to impossible.

The mentioned report from above didn’t specified the exact creative plans involving the two superstars. As the clock is ticking down, there might be an update on this, however, at the point of writing, there’s nothing. But, as one looks upon, Cody Rhodes can get involved in a similar kind of promo as he was in with Paul Heyman last week. Drawing some real life scenarios and realm would be more than enough to put the final nail in the coffin.

As known, Raw will emanate from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Last time when Sami was here, he was enjoying his stint with The Bloodline. Back then too, he felt legit over among the crowd. Hence, without a hitch of doubt, the Master Strategist is going to have the full backup of people in the stands. There’s no word on if Roman Reigns is slated to appear tonight or not. However, that’s not impossible considering it’s going to be the go-home edition of the red brand for Elimination Chamber.
