Kurt Angle is a big icon for the USA after getting a gold medal in the Olympics and becoming the world champion a year later. He was on the radar of the wrestling associations. They were ready to offer him everything that could bring him into their ring. But that was just the tip of the iceberg as he shared his journey.

He became the main attraction for marketing the company when Angle first signed for TNA in 2006. But after a while, Angle’s fortunes began to deteriorate, as his bookings were nowhere near what they were when he first joined the company. The WWE Hall of Famer talks about his string of losses and even his absence of involvement in 2012 for TNA on “The Kurt Angle Show”.
“I felt like the new guys coming in, these big stars came in, Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair. I didn’t have a problem with any of ’em but they decided that it was time to make the young guys,There were times where I wasn’t even booked on the show. Didn’t even have a pre-tape, or a promo, or any match. I was not even on the show, and when I did I was losing quite a bit.” Angle said.
Angle claims that he was very supportive towards young wrestlers, but he thought the company had to keep the promises what it had told the star at first. He believed TNA will indeed disregard him in 2012. There was a lack of middle ground between TNA and Kurt on the future of his booking.
Kurt Angle joined TNA two months after WWE
Angle became the TNA champion in the debut season. Kurt Angle became a sensation in TNA winning titles after titles. He won his TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice, the TNA X-Division Championship once, the TNA World Tag Team Championship once, and the IWGP Third Belt before the year was up.
Angle won all of those championships when he defeated Samoa Joe in a Winner Takes All match on August 12, 2007, at TNA Hard Justice. Kurt Angle has a greater legacy in TNA for winning many major championships than he does in WWE.
