WWE Programming involves a lot of risks every week. Fans see their favorite superstars risking it their all as they engage in physical confrontations. Often, injury stands next door as superstars finish a crucial match or phase of their career. In the same current, it seems, NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov has reportedly suffered an injury during the NXT tapings.

As can be seen in the post, the Mad Dragon seems to be lying down in agony. Surrounding him are WWE’s medical officials, who are working on taking him out on a stretcher. However, there has been no official announcement about any injury or its nature and it might turn out to be a gimmick angle for later.

Several speculations have risen around the involvement of Ridge Holland. Many believe that the former member of the Brawling Brutes could be used as a threat to the reign of Mad Dragon. Ridge also has a history of injuring other superstars like Big E in May 2022.
