Iyo Sky came out successful in the Money in the Bank ladder match using a very unique strategy that left fans surprised.

The Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match saw Iyo Sky win the briefcase in a very clever way. She outsmarted Becky Lynch and her stablemate Bayley in the most unique fashion by handcuffing them both within the ladder. As Lynch and Bayley’s hands were hooked to each other, Sky climbed up on Bayley’s shoulders and stepped up the ladder to grab the MITB briefcase.

The Women’s Money in the Bank match started with all the women targeting their opponents. Bayley and Iyo Sky teamed up and attacked Zelina Vega. While Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark targeted Becky Lynch throughout the match. During the match, Iyo Sky performed a breathtaking inverse moonsault over the other participants. Vega was also seen recreating Andrade’s spot from the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2019.

As Trish Stratus was going to grab the briefcase, Becky Lynch came in front of her and put her down. Trish and Becky then recalled their team’s actions as they took down Zelina. Zoey was helping Stratus throughout the match as she brought a handcuff with her to attach her to the ring. But that idea was shoved aside by Lynch as she performed a Manhandle Slam on Stark on a ladder.

On the other hand, Bayley threw the ladder with Iyo Sky on it. As a result, she started climbing one side of the ladder with Becky Lynch on the other end. As Lynch was already handcuffed by Stark, Iyo came in and handcuffed the other end of the cuff to Bayley’s hand. With Bayley and Becky handcuffed and helpless, Iyo climbed through Bayley and grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase. Watch the video here.

The Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match saw one of the cleverest endings by Iyo Sky. Her tactic to grab the briefcase involved Bayley and Becky Lynch getting handcuffed, disallowing them to further climb the ladder. Having this advantage, Sky climbed upon her stablemate and unhooked the briefcase.

After her win, she was spotted clicking pictures with the returning John Cena. Her happiness was visible through her expressions. She was overjoyed after her victory and in the photos with Cena. She then took to Twitter to share a picture of her briefcase with the caption stating her excitement, “Yeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!”

Her left hand touching the shining briefcase stated her right over the contract. People are overjoyed with their fan-favorite star winning the contract, at least in the Women’s ladder match. Although they are much upset with the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match’s finish with Damian Priest as the winner.
