After months of subtle teases, Jade Cargill has finally inked the dotted line and became an official member of SmackDown. Not only that, the recently arrived WWE Superstar got her official second match in WWE, which will go down at WrestleMania XL. The 31-year-old took to X to express her joy at finally making it to the biggest PLE of the year.
The trio of Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi will take on Damage CTRL‘s Dakota Kai and the Kabuki Warriors. The Storm took to X to assert pleasure heading into her first ‘Mania match. Moreover, she referred to Belair and Naomi as “powerful queens,” whom she will get to tag with. The former AEW wrestler mentioned how “blessed” she is to perform at the biggest WrestleMania of all time.
Life is amazing right now. I’m going to my first #WrestleMania , at that alongside these powerful queens @BiancaBelairWWE @TheTrinity_Fatu . It gets no better than that! #blessed , time to kick some butt and show out.Jade Cargill (via X)
Big Jade claiming happiness comes as a huge surprise to fans since multiple big names in the women’s division are seemingly left out of the match card. Cargill first got a chance to showcase her talent and strength in the Royal Rumble match this year. Now, she will wrestle her first match as an active member of the roster.
On SmackDown, the Florida native dominated Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane and tore the house down. The credibility that The EST and Naomi have is unmatched. Therefore, adding the longest-reigning AEW TBS Champion to the mix elevates the team’s strength to a completely different level.
Bianca Belair joins in the excitement with Jade Cargill
When the rumors of The Storm potentially arriving in WWE started circulating, fans thought that Jade Cargill might lock horns with Bianca Belair. Both superstars are quite alike in terms of strength and size. However, the supposed dream match doesn’t seem to be the case at the moment. Instead, the pair will team up at WrestleMania XL.
The babyface trio has been communicating quite well on X. The 34-year-old Superstar replied to a post by Cargill and motivated her ‘Mania partner. Moreover, she vowed that The Storm will “show up and show out” at the Showcase of the Immortals. The comradery remains strong in the trio as they head to the big match.
With Kai, Asuka, and Sane having engaged in a feud with Belair and her girls, Iyo Sky‘s title reign might be in danger. Bayley is the stronger pick to win her title match against Sky at WrestleMania XL. Belair has already stated that she has nothing to do with the 2024 Royal Rumble winner. However, Sky’s stablemates might not get a chance to secure the title for their leader with Cargill looming around.
