Jay Briscoe’s death was a sad day for all wrestling fans. The world was sunk in a deep state of sadness as the ROH fame left for his heavenly abode. The car accident left the Pugh family in a terrible state. AEW CEO Tony Khan was the first to break the news of Briscoe’s death to the public.
Briscoe was not alone in the car during the unfortunate time but also had his two daughters along with him. Jay’s wife, Ashley Pugh, took to Facebook to provide an update on their daughter’s condition after the crash. She appealed to the public for prayer for the recovery of her daughter Gracie, who was undergoing surgery.
Their other daughter, Jayleigh, also received massive injuries, but her health has been stable, as she revealed to the public. Recently, the near and dear ones of Briscoe opened up a donation page in order to balance the medical expenses that might be incurred in front of the devastated family.
“The Pugh family’s world has shifted, and with that, there will be many unforeseen expenses. We have set this page up (with approval from the family) to help ease any burden that may arise from this tragedy,” they wrote. At the current moment, the funding page has raised almost one-fifth of the total amount required.

The WWE Universe was absorbed in massive grief after the unforeseen death of Jay Briscoe
As soon as Tony Khan broke the news, Twitter was flooded with condolences and prayers for the family. All the top names in the company, including Triple H, Seth Rollins, and Sami Zayn were among the numerous stars who expressed their feelings about the heartbreaking incident.
Seth Rollins dedicated his success in ROH to him. He also recalled multiple moments with him. Jay Briscoe has been successful in making his wrestling career very decorated with his excellent skillset and the great connection he has with his fans all across the globe—a fact acknowledged by ‘The Game’ himself.
Jay and Ashley are parents to three kids: Gracie, Jayleigh, and Gannon. The expected amount of $50,000 can help the Pugh family gain much-needed strength with the recovery of their daughter Gracie, who is in critical condition.
