WATCH: JD McDonagh presents a brand-new customed ‘Money in the Bank’ briefcase to Damian Priest on Raw, wraps-up the biggest win of his career later on

The Judgment Day arrived in style on Raw this week. With the entire faction draped in gold, it was finally time for them to celebrate. However, JD McDonagh soon interrupted their party. The way JD sacrificed himself at Payback for Judgment Day impressed Damian Priest. So, for a change, Priest asked McDonagh not to disappoint him with whatever he had in store. The Irish Ace was holding a black-colored bag.
After getting into the ring, McDonagh gave props to The Judgment Day for their glorified outing in Pittsburgh. However, he did confuse Damian Priest by saying that the latter doesn’t need the Money in the Bank briefcase anymore. Instead, the 33-year-old unveiled a customized MITB contract for The Archer of Infamy. It had “Senor Money in the Bank”, written all over it with a purple background, fitting the group’s theme perfectly.
Upon witnessing his so-called gift, Priest showed delight. With that being said, it appeared like the former NXT star nailed his cause for getting closer to Judgment Day. However, Sami Zayn interrupted the party going on in the ring and touched upon his loss at Payback.
He affirmed how it took five people to take him and Kevin Owens down. Hence, Zayn made his intentions loud and clear about picking a fight. The former Honorary Uce started tearing apart Dominik Mysterio, as he was the one who made the last move on Zayn this past Saturday at Payback.
Seemingly, he challenged the Latino Heat for a match that JD McDonagh accepted on Dom’s and The Judgment Day’s behalf. He said that Mysterio wouldn’t be the one taking on Zayn; instead, the Irish Ace booked his spot. The former Cruiserweight Champion saw it as a perfect opportunity to impress The Judgment Day.

JD McDonagh overcame Sami Zayn on WWE Raw this week
Later on during the show, Sami Zayn and JD McDonagh went for it. When they had a match last time, the former Intercontinental Champion humbled the upstart fair and square. However, the case was entirely different this week. In a rage to win over Judgment Day, McDonagh was pulling out all the stops.
During the closing stretch, Dominik Mysterio arrived at the aid of JD McDonagh, as instructed by Rhea Ripley during a backstage segment. To nullify the ‘Dom Effect’, Zayn first took care of the reigning NXT North American Champion. However, he completely took his eyes off The Irish Ace.
As a result, it enabled the latter to earn a roll-up victory over Sami. After the match, an irate Sami Zayn tried to vent his frustrations out on Mysterio; however, McDonagh took the bullet for Dom as the Syria-based wrestler executed the Helluva Kick on the Irishman.
