“It sucks that he did it but is anything really gonna happen from it?”- Chris Jericho comments on Vince McMahon’s s*x scandal

Chris Jericho was recently asked about Vince McMahon’s allegations over the reported $12 million settlement to cover up s*x affairs. To be noted, both Jericho and McMahon have known each other from a long time as the Demo God worked for WWE the majority of his wrestling career before eventually switching to All Elite Wrestling in 2019.

Jericho was a guest on “True Geordie” podcast where the Wizard had his say on the serious allegations over his former Boss and he was not surprised by them saying that it was not illegal as Vince had an affair but he later paid those woman for not disclosing anything and moved on.

“Not really,” Jericho responded. “I mean is there a surprise in any industry when it happens? And really, when you look at it, it’s not illegal. He had an affair, paid the lady off to not say anything, and moved on”.

Jericho even said that he doesn’t thinks there is anything for Vince to get worried about as that affair was a mutual settlement between him and those woman. He further admitted that the incident still sucks but there ain’t gonna be any further repercussions for that.

“This has never been said in Vince’s thing. There was a mutual acknowledgment of this affair and then he paid the lady to say nothing and she took the money so, you know. I really know Vince well and it sucks that it happened and it sucks that he did it but is anything really gonna happen from it? I really don’t think so.”

Jericho added although it’s not illegal but it’s definitely not right morally and nothing serious is gonna happen because it’s wrestling and more importantly it’s Vince McMahon.

Vince McMahon has been a topic of discussion all year around

Even before these Hush money allegations came out, Vince McMahon was still in limelight as the latter made his in-ring earlier this year at Wrestlemania at a ridiculously old age of 76. He defeated Pat McAfee via some assist from his protege Theory but their celebrations didn’t last longer as the baddest SOB in the business ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin later came out to stun everyone.

Then two months later in mid-June, the Wall Street Journal broke out the initial $3 million s*x affairs settlement of the former boss which took the entire wrestling world to a storm. The incident was on the top of headlines for weeks and just before the dust was settling out, even major development on the same story got revealed this time with a much bigger amount of over $12 Millions. Although, he is Vince McMahon but the holes are much deeper for him this time around.
