WWE is actually following up strongly on Jey Uso‘s shocking promulgation on SmackDown. After having enough with his family members, Jey decided that he was done with WWE. He laid out both Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso before bowing out. However, it looks like a part of the storyline and WWE wasn’t reluctant to add another layer to it with its recent move.

WWE has done a brilliant job in making their fans believe that Jey has actually left the place. Last afternoon, they updated their official website, where they moved Jet Uso’s profile to their Alumni section. This section pertains to those talents who’ve already left the promotion. So, placing Jey Uso among them was a smart move.

It appears like WWE is planning to stretch The Bloodline saga even further. As stated by Paul Heyman during the SummerSlam press conference, they’re in the bottom of the third inning. Going by the Wise Man’s wording, fans are yet to decipher more twists before it eventually caps off. For some, the storyline is being stretched for no reason now. Regardless of people’s opinions, the Roman Reigns-centered group is still drawing.

After a tumultuous segment between The Bloodline this week on SmackDown, Solo Sikoa has something to say. He took to his X account and wrote,“We don’t need you.” Of course, The Street Champion is referring to his older brother, Jey Uso. Neither Reigns nor The Usos are advertised for next week’s SmackDown in Toronto.

WWE might hold off Jey Uso until next year

There’s no enigma in the fact that Jey Uso going up against Jimmy is the obvious move. Whenever the creative decides to kick off the inevitable feud, it’s going to be personal. However, WrestleVotes recently reported that at least one creative force wants to wait till WrestleMania 40 for the Brother vs. Brother match.

That’s the exact direction the Stamford-based promotion seems to be headed in. Jey Uso is already in the alumni section, which might be a subtle tease that WWE will likely keep him away from television for a while. Obviously, they’re not going to have him return in mere weeks.

To sell this angle effectively, Jimmy’s twin brother would need to maintain the kayfabe exemption for a long time. That said, WWE could have Jey return as a surprise entrant in the Men’s Royal Rumble match next year. With Jimmy’s too in the fold, a marquee match can be set up during the 30-man over the top rope fest.
