Elon Musk and Jey Uso

Jey Uso has climbed the ladder of popularity through the well-received Bloodline saga. Even though he ended up losing at SummerSlam against Roman Reigns, he caught the attention of Tesla and Twitter’s (or X) owner, Elon Musk

The closing stages of the match had seemingly impressed the billionaire. “Main Event” Jey Uso had hit the frog splash on Reigns. As Jey was set for glory, he was pulled out of the ring by his twin brother, Jimmy Uso. This entire sequence has gone viral online. The WWE’s official Twitter handle posted the move, and surprisingly enough, Elon Musk reacted to the tweet.

The $250 billion-worth man replied, “Am going with @WWE as my fighting style”. This was in reference to his rumored upcoming fight against rival tech billionaire Mark Zuckerberg. Before this, Elon had laid out the challenge to the Meta owner, whose team had accepted the challenge on his behalf. Furthermore, no date or venue have been set for the fight as of yet. The Bloodline story has helped the company gain outside viewership for the product. As proven by the above-mentioned interaction online. Although the main event of SummerSlam received polarizing opinions, it certainly helped the business end of things. The premium live event broke several attendance and gate records, as announced by CCO Triple H.

The ending of the most recent premium live event, SummerSlam, left most fans speechless. Jey Uso had come very close to defeating his cousin, Roman Reigns, for the Undisputed Universal Championship. However, it was not meant to be, as the former was betrayed by his own twin brother, Jimmy Uso.

The reaction online was negative. Evidently, many thought it was “Main Event” Jey Uso’s time to shine and Roman’s record reign to come to an end. Moreover, the ending was a repeat of the champion’s previous matches, with outside interference being deemed frustrating. The Tribal Combat stipulation was also broken due to this, as it was clearly stated that it would be a “fair” one-on-one.

In the press conference, Paul Heyman indicated that the reign was far from over. Therefore, this led to the WWE Universe voicing their concerns for the future of this story. Most of them didn’t understand the baffling decisions made at the event, with some believing that the entire saga has “jumped the shark”.
