The Tuesday Night War between WWE and AEW was an eventful night for professional wrestling. The biggest talent in the sport appeared on NXT and Dynamite to boost ratings. One of the superstars who appeared on the former brand was John Cena. As many might know, the sixteen-time World Champion accompanied Carmelo Hayes in the main event match.

However, Cena seemingly surfaced briefly during the rival promotions’ show. The Franchise Player appeared in an advertisement on Dynamite’s broadcasting partner, TBS. As a result, fans hilariously eluded to the future HOF’er being the only wrestler to appear on WWE and AEW programming on the same night.

John Cena made a huge mark on the former developmental brand on Tuesday night. Moreover, he put over the likes of Hayes, Bron Breakker, and Trick Williams during the episode. In the main event, the Cenation Leader helped the 29-year-old superstar defeat Breakker by fending off a surprise interference by Solo Sikoa.

Due to the events on the show, many believe that his rivalry with The Bloodline was far from over. Moreover, Roman Reigns returning on SmackDown may set the tone for the upcoming PLE, Crown Jewel. Despite Cena’s current run officially ending before the event, it seems he might prolong his stay with the legend advertised to compete on November 4.

Recently, the Franchise Player spoke about the Phenomenal One, claiming that he brought the best out of him. “We both had a different perspective on our careers, and he thought if I didn’t exist, he would be where I’m at, and I always wanted to see what the WWE would be like with AJ involved. Being in the ring, we brought out the best in each other,” Cena said during an appearance on The Bump.

Undoubtedly, AJ Styles has earned his place among the all-time greats. He wouldn’t have launched to this level of stardom without John Cena. Currently, the former World Champion is sidelined with an injury after a vicious attack by the Bloodline a few weeks ago.
