Former WWE Champion John Cena thinks that the atmosphere at the “Fast & Furious set” is very much like the WWE locker room” in the initial days of his career. Cena is currently doing press tours for his latest movie, Fast X, which is the 10th edition of the Fast saga. Fast X will release in cinemas on May 19, 2023.

After leaving WWE full-time to explore opportunities in Hollywood, John Cena has made rare appearances in the squared ring. The Cenation leader has also found success in Hollywood. Some of his blockbuster films include The Peacemaker, Suicide Squad, and the Fast and Furious series. He earned a name outside the domain of WWE.

While talking on Busted Open Radio, John Cena discussed how he entered the Fast saga and how the actors welcomed him to the family. Cena compared that to the WWE locker rooms from 2002, when he had just made his WWE debut. “The parallels that the Fast Family runs to a WWE locker room [are] uncanny. It’s a great place to work and it reminds me of my early days in WWE,” he said.

John Cena is arguably one of the greatest wrestlers in WWE history. He has been the top guy in the industry for over two decades and still continues to be a fan favorite. He wrestled his latest match against Austin Theory for the United Championship at WrestleMania 39. Theory defeated the Cenation leader to retain his championship.

The 16-time World Champion transitioned to Hollywood from WWE successfully because of his dedication and “never give up” attitude. Cena has also received praise for his positive attitude and for being welcoming to his fans and fellow wrestlers. He joins the likes of The Rock and Batista in having a successful career in WWE as well as Hollywood.

Cena has had a 21-year career in WWE. One is bound to make many records along the way if one continues to do something for this long. He holds many records that are very difficult to break. The former US champion has the highest win-loss percentage compared to any other wrestler. John Cena is the only WWE superstar to equal Ric Flair’s record of being a 16-time World Champion.

However, a special record that John Cena holds is having won at least one wrestling match every year for 21 years consecutively. He has had a match every year since his debut in 2002. Cena was a regular presence in WWE until 2016–17. After that, he moved to Hollywood, and his WWE career became part-time as he started making appearances only for special occasions.

While this year Cena wrestled Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39, last year he wrestled Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn when he teamed up with Kevin Owens on the last SmackDown of the year. Before that, the Cenation leader wrestled at SummerSlam 2021 against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
