At various points in time, John Cena has alluded to drawing the curtains on his WWE career. But then he stirs the pot through his one-liners. That’s exactly what he did during a recent conversation with Chris Van Vliet. The latter asked Cena’s favorite world title triumph he’s ever had. In reply, John said, “the next one,” teasing he might have a go at the world title for the 17th time. The interviewer then asked whether he’s planning to add another one to his resume.
And again, Cena affirmed that even though his days inside the squared circle are numbered, they’re not ending this early. That was quite something from the Peacemaker star. This April, he’ll turn 47. And recently, John said he plans to continue wrestling until he’s 50. As for what’s been trending on the internet over the past few days, Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect has launched an OnlyFans account.
He’s going by his pseudonym, Ricky Stanicky, which is also the name of his upcoming movie scheduled to release on March 7. John’s bio on OnlyFans reads that Stanicky is a renowned impersonator, investment banker, socialite, cancer survivor, and method actor.
My next one. I have often said that the time is coming for me to hang them up and I’m not lying when I say, but it’s not tomorrow. It’s probably soon but not tomorrow, so you never know.John Cena via interview with Chris Van Vliet
And ever since, the Franchise Player has posted a number of clips. The fans hilariously reacted to a video in which their “childhood hero” was seen getting hit by a cream pie. And then, days later, John followed it up playing with some balls.
Actually, they were plain rubber ones. Not beyond that. After The Cenation Leader pulled off the unthinkable, fellow WWE Superstar Randy Orton offered to collaborate with the Hollywood mogul. It appears like The Viper was just having fun with his good-ol buddy and not more.
Is John Cena making an appearance at WrestleMania 40?
A promising update has emerged on John Cena’s WrestleMania 40 status. Per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there’s been talk of having the 16-time World Champion at The Show of Shows. However, his acting commitments might come in the way as he’s lined up to film Peacemaker’s second season.
The report added that if Cena were to appear at WrestleMania, he’d do anything that wasn’t deemed to cause him physical harm. It could be a cameo appearance like he did at WrestleMania 2019, where he revitalized the Doctor of Thuganomics.
Before returning to Hollywood, John Cena had a two-month-long run in WWE while the SAG-AFTRA strike was in full force. His painful loss at the hands of Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel bowed Cena out of WWE.
