A few months ago, John Cena, appeared on the pre-show on BYJU’s cricket live and revealed how he could relate to cricket and former Indian team captain, Virat Kohli. The megastar revealed that he has the ‘never give up’ spirit in him right from the start of his career and he has seen the same in Virat Kohli.
Cena lso said that he has followed the 2019 Cricket World Cup closely and he could correlate with the game after he saw a practice session of Virat Kohli on Instagram. Here’s what he said: “I was following the 2019 Cricket World Cup and I began to see some correlation and the philosophy of never giving up. So, that is where the connection with cricket was made.”
John Cena is set to complete 20 years in WWE soon
27th June 2002 saw the debut of one of the greatest Superstars of the Wrestling industry, John Cena. The franchise player is set to complete 20 years of his debut in WWE in Juner this year and is expected to return to the company for the celebrations as well. Cena’s last run in WWE didn’t go as he would’ve wanted but the WWE Universe is always elated to see him in the squared circle.
