WWE superstar John Cena is the embodiment of putting everything on the line for the sake of entertaining his fans. Recently, he fulfilled his commitments with WWE. However, Cena ruptured his arms in the process. It stemmed from Cena’s hellacious showdown with Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel. The Street Champion bombarded an unstoppable spree of Samoan spikes on the 16-time World Champion.

As a result, Cena lost the match and went into the shadows. The physical torment on his body forced John Cena to get surgery on both of his arms. In a picture posted on X, the WWE legend confirmed that he’s undergone a successful one and expressed his gratitude to Dr. Jeff Dugas and the entire Andrew’s Orthopaedic Center. Needless to say, Cena worked his entire two-month-long WWE run with great fervor. And now, he’s set to return to Hollywood.

Having said that, he would be away from WWE for a long time, if not forever. Though he teased his retirement after simply dropping David Beckham‘s image through his Instagram account, Cena might be having some fun. However, it’s for sure that The Peacemaker star doesn’t have loads of wrestling stamina left inside his 47-year-old frame. There’s absolutely nothing that John hasn’t accomplished as a WWE Superstar.

At Crown Jewel, he had the opportunity to break the curse of not winning a singles match in over 2,000 days. However, he chose to put over Solo Sikoa. Even after losing, the vociferous crowd in Riyadh stood out of their seats in applause. The bout didn’t end the way most of the fans were hoping. But that’s how Cena functions—taking away nothing and giving his all.

The fans were already upset after Solo Sikoa traumatized John Cena in front of the entire world. If that wasn’t enough, Paul Heyman cut a tantalizing promo on last week’s SmackDown to rub salt on everyone’s wounds. He declared Solo the only man in history who didn’t let John Cena keep his promise.

As seen by the fans, The Cenation Leader vowed to take down The Bloodline’s Enforcer, but he couldn’t. Beating Cena at a premium live event was a watershed moment in Solo Sikoa’s nascent career. He would only continue to turn up the heat from here.

Despite brutally dismissing Sikoa on the mic, John Cena failed to assert his dominance when it mattered the most. It will be interesting to see if Cena crosses paths with The Street Champion ever again. For now, the Cenation Leader will resume his Hollywood obligations.
