This week’s SmackDown saw another compelling chapter between The Bloodline and John Cena. The Cenation Leader was on the show to have a match against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. However, he ended up being at the receiving end of a brutal beatdown from The Bloodline. Following SmackDown, John Cena competed in a dark match against Montez Ford.

Both superstars battled in a grueling match as the show went off-air to entertain the crowd in Phoenix, Arizona. Ford and Cena were seemingly exhausted, as Montez Ford faced Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar with his partner Angelo Dawkins. On the other hand, John Cena suffered a vicious assault from The Bloodline in the closing moments of SmackDown.

The main event of this week’s SmackDown saw AJ Styles taken to a local medical facility after Solo Sikoa landed on him from high above backstage. The two Bloodline members then shifted their focus to the Cenation Leader, subsequently signing a contract for a match at Fastlane. However, John Cena still had some gas left in his tank to deliver an amazing matchup with Montez Ford after SmackDown went off the air. Watch the video below.

John Cena will still be looking for a partner for Fastlane. This turn of events in the episode of SmackDown might unravel interesting things. It is going to be interesting to see the direction of Cena from here on out as he finds himself battling with The Bloodline members all alone.

WWE’s next premium live event Fastlane is just two weeks away. WWE recently dropped the official poster for the event, featuring the Greatest of All Time, John Cena. The show will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 7. Cena’s presence on the poster hints at his involvement in the October spectacle.

John Cena is all set to face The Bloodline in a tag team match. However, his partner, AJ Styles, was brutally attacked on SmackDown this week. It looks like Cena will have to find himself a new partner to take on Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. The match was announced as one of the main events leading up to Fastlane by Adam Pearce on SmackDown.

The poster looks incredible, as it features a fired-up John Cena with shining bright eyes. It will be interesting to see who steps up to team up with the former World Champion. It’s been a long time since Cena became the poster guy in WWE. This brings back nostalgia for many WWE fans. The Cenation Leader will be heading on a rough path during this course of events in his iconic run on the Blue Brand.
