WWE superstar John Cena is in the midst of his two-month-long run. For the first time in nearly half a decade, the Cenation Leader is having such an extended run with WWE. Naturally, he is making the most of it and appearing on WWE programming every week. That said, Cena was the latest guest on the WWE’s talk show, The Bump.

Sitting down with Kayla Braxton on The Bump, the Peacemaker star touched upon numerous topics. One of the subjects of his conversation was the rising star, Grayson Waller. Speaking of Waller, John Cena drew a comparison between the Aussie Icon and The A-Lister. He elaborated that Waller reminds him a lot of The Miz.

Comparing Waller and Miz, Cena said, “[Grayson Waller] reminds me a whole lot of The Miz. A LOT. For all of Miz’s confidence/arrogance, he’s been here 19-years, he’s one of the most reliable, decorated, ELITE performers in WWE history,” putting the A-Lister over in the process.

He stated that Waller’s onscreen confidence and swagger abundantly remind him of The Miz. The latter has remained a heel most of his career, with his on-screen character boasting about his accolades. Therefore, John Cena believes that Grayson Waller has been following in the same footsteps.

Speaking highly of The Miz, the Cenation Leader described the 42-year-old superstar as one of the most reliable, decorated and elite performers in the business. The Miz has signed with WWE since 2004. In his nearly two-decade career, the A-Lister has earned innumerable accolades in his name, including being a two-time Grand Slam Champion and main-eventing WrestleMania 27 with none other than John Cena.

While speaking with Kayla Braxton on The Bump, the Cenation Leader discussed his in-ring retirement and future plans. Cena revealed that he doesn’t plan on retiring right after his current run. The multi-time champion believes there is so much more he has yet to give back to the fans before finally hanging up his boots.

John Cena said, “I confidently believe that I’m not done but I do believe that we’re all fighting that ticking clock and mine has less seconds than most other people in the locker room. A lot of times we go away, and we don’t get a chance to say a proper like ‘hey thanks for allowing me to do this for so long’. I don’t exist without the audience and I’m just really grateful for every single second. It’s why I can’t talk trash about anybody,” concluding his statement with an earnest display of gratitude towards the WWE Universe.
