DCEU is one of the biggest media franchises in the world, and John Cena hasn’t failed to impress them with his excellent work. However, it now seems that the ties between them are on the verge of breaking. Henry Cavill has already left the DC universe, and the company has suffered significant fan backlash as a result.
The DC recently welcomed its new CEOs, James Gunn and Peter Safran, who wanted to start their tenure on a fresh page. Cavill announced that he won’t be returning to DC as “Superman.” This decision didn’t go well with the fans, who vented their anger on other stars who are still signed by the company.
A fan took to Reddit to express his dissatisfaction with the CEO’s decision. He asserted that if Henry was being removed from the company, the authorities must be unbiased and thus remove Margot Robbie and John Cena, too. But the harsh call will be an “unpopular decision,” and doing so would invite hatred.
The user also stated that it would be unfair to celebrities like Henry Cavill if they only made certain releases. He wants everyone to leave the company if Gunn wants a reboot in the DCEU. The user’s concept was shared with many people who did not hesitate to support it. Many people on the same thread, however, explained why Gunn was correct in cleaning the previous slots.

“Variety” recently announced that John Cena and Jason Momoa will be joining hands for their upcoming movie, “Killer Vacation.” The movie is being produced by Warner Bros. Aside from that, Mark and Brian Gunn will write the script for the film.
The producers of the upcoming project are John Rickard and Peter Safran. With all these megastars lined up for the movie, the removal of John Cena from the DCEU currently seems next to impossible. If the audience reaction gets worse, there is a possibility that DC will agree to the fans’ demands.
