“I’m super sad”; When John Cena reacted to Batista’s comments regarding working with him and Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson, Batista, and John Cena
There are a very few WWE superstars who have shifted gears from the wrestling industry to the Hollywood which includes former world champions John Cena, Dave Bautista, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. The three men have been a part of some huge movies and have broken a lot of records in the Hollywood. But the two have not been a part of a movie together which has been a bit disappointing for everyone.
An year ago, Dave Bautista had commented in an interview and had said that he didn’t want to work with John Cena and Dwayne Johnson in the movies at any point of time. This was a very disheartening comment for the wrestling fans and that was for John Cena as well who a few months later commented on Batista’s words saying:
“Yeah, man I’m super sad about that because Dave Bautista is an unbelievably gifted actor. He’s done some amazing work. But I think when someone makes a statement like that, I think the important thing is to try and look at things from their perspective. Dave has worked so hard on his craft and he is so dedicated to his characters and really wants to put forth a body of work that gives him his own identity. I 100% understand that.”
John Cena and Dwayne Johnson have not been a part of a movie yet
John Cena and Dwayne Johnson have not been seen in one movie together yet. But the two men are a part of the same franchise which could possible open the door for the two men to come together once again after a surreal rivalry in WWE. Dwayne Johnson has been an integral part of the Fast and Furious franchise.
Johnson entered the franchise in the fifth sequel and was last seen with the group in the 8th sequel and the spin off movie, Hobbs and Shaw. While Cena had entered the franchise in the 9th sequel in which the Rock wasn’t a part of it. The franchise is set for two last sequels now and John Cena will surely be a part of it.
But Johnson has currently not accepted to return to the franchise yet after having some issues with Vin Diesel but things may change and the former WWE Champion could decide to come back which could be the first time we get to see the two former WWE superstars together in Hollywood.
