The 16-time World Champion John Cena finally made his WWE return tonight on Monday Night Raw to celebrate his 20th anniversary with the company. The whole WWE Universe was eagerly waiting for this moment to get unfold. Cena’s legacy is second to none and he is a major reason why WWE is standing at the mountains waving their flags in utmost pride.
John Cena’s methodical rose to a main-event player was much appreciated by fans and critics all alike, in addition his fan-engaging persona also helped a lot in establishing him as their champ. Although some of his later stints with the company brought some hate for the legendary superstar as people became of the belief that even though Cena is well-established as a superstar, he was taking the spots of many younger generation talents who were looking to make a name for themselves.
Recently many of his WWE fellowmates including The Game Triple H, his greatest rival Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Dolph Ziggler and WWE’s new boss Stephanie McMahon have all congratulated Cena for achieving this incredible milestone in his career. Well, although it’s been 2 years since Cena is busting his a*s off in WWE it still feels unreal. If his schedule allows more to him, we can see our Champ hang in with that ring for 5-6 more years potentially.
John Cena thanked the entire WWE Universe for making him who he exactly is today
Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon came out to welcome John Cena in front of the WWE Universe. The 16-time World Champion made his entrance amidst of a deafening ovation from the live crowd in Laredo, Texas with multiple superstars paying him tribute on the entrance ramp. Cena entered the ring and was just looking around for few moments due to a blazing response from the people present out there.
He further grabbed a microphone and said “Tonight is my WWE birthday” to begin with. He then also pointed a fan signboard into the crowd having a mention about his jorts. Following that, Cena acknowledged the everyone present out there for making him what he’s today, he insisted on the fact that it was the entire WWE Universe who made John Cena a better professional, a better husband and a great performer.
He even mentioned that although he don’t know when he’ll wrestle his next match but made assure that it won’t certainly be the only one. He ended his promo by using his patendes catchphrase “You want some ? Come get some“.
