John Cena started working for movies in 2006. Starting with the WWE Studio, Cena went ahead to give side roles as well as lead roles to other production houses. His acting career went on quite beautifully. He has a lot of blockbusters to his name.

John Cena recalls his initial days of his Hollywood career
Prior to John Cena, The Rock made his Hollywood debut and is doing very well in the same. John Cena considers him his mentor who helped him succeed in the industry. He believes that the Rock is the reason that he has life outside WWE. The Rock has given much advice to Cena which has helped him a lot.
Cena recalls his early days in the industry when he was appearing for an audition for the movie ‘Trainwreck.’ It was his first audition and he was really nervous. At the instant, he turned to Dwayne Johnson for some tips to excel in the audition. To which Dwayne said, “They asked you there for a reason dude; just be yourself.”
Dwayne’s advice helped John Cena a lot. “He, in that one sentence, allowed me to calm down. Allowed me to be myself, which I’m really a goofball. And allowed me to do that on screen. N*ked. He’s the reason I’m here,” said Cena. The two are now established as successful actors in the industry.
John Cena and Dwayne Johnson are currently busy with their Hollywood roles and are nowhere expected to be seen in WWE in the near future. It was rumoured that John Cena will show up in the ring at the Clash At The Castle that will happen next month at Cardiff. But Cena has clearly declared that he won’t be able to attend the premium live event.
There are various speculations regarding the iconic The Rock vs Roman Reigns match. The entire WWE Universe is waiting for the two megastars to face each other. Paul Heyman also indirectly challenged The Rock to come and show his strength in front of the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion. There has been no response from The Rock’s side. We’ll have to wait and see if these superstars can make time for WWE.
