WWE legend John Cena is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. From winning championships to maineventing WrestleMania’s, he has done it all. Therefore, fans have always valued his opinions on who he considers the greatest of all time. Now, the 16-time World Champion answered a similar question in an interview.
Cena recently appeared on ESPN’s First Take to talk about his upcoming movie Ricky Stanicky and discussed various WWE-related topics too. One of those interesting topics was who, according to him, are the 5 best female wrestlers in the world. He immediately said five names, including Bayley, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and Charlotte Flair.

However, many fans noticed that he didn’t take one name that was important to the women’s revolution, and that was Sasha Banks. She was part of the Four Horsewomen and won multiple championships in WWE. Banks’ match against her friend Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Respect was the first women’s match ever to headline NXT TakeOver.
I am gonna change the monument, we'll go top 5. Bayley, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair.John Cena on ESPN’s First Take
The possible reason behind Cena not taking her name could be The Boss not being in WWE anymore. The 32-year-old star was injured in May of last year and is very close to a return. It is rumored that Banks will make her AEW debut next week at AEW: Big Business in Boston. Fans are excited to see her back in the ring once again and do what she does best: mesmerize the world with her in-ring talent.
John Cena stated that working in WWE helped him in his Hollywood career
John Cena is one of those superstars who has had a pretty successful career in Hollywood, like The Rock and Dave Bautista. Without a doubt, WWE and wrestling have played the most important part in his life and helped him in the movie industry too.

In the same interview, Cena revealed that all of the things that he learned and did in WWE had a significant impact on what he did while shooting. He also stated that the opportunity to work in movies allowed him to show who the real “John Cena” is.
"WWE is so physically and dramatically forward. Out narratives are sports narratives through entertainment, and you don't have a lot of space to laugh at yourself. I think opportunities like this allow me to just show a little more who I am.John Cena on ESPN’s First Take
Cena’s last match in WWE was at Crown Jewel, where he lost to Solo Sikoa. Since then, he has not been seen on WWE programming due to movie commitments. Now, it is rumored that the Leader of Cenation could appear at this year’s WrestleMania. Only time will tell whether he appears or not, and if he does, in what capacity.
