They started dating in the year 2008 and dated for a time before calling it quits towards the end of the year 2010; as a result, neither of them ever got back together. At the time, John Cena was married. Toward the end of 2012, he separated from his wife and began dating once more.
The first person he dated was Nikki Bella and after that, they both had one of the most recognizable dating periods. They both were doing good before parting their ways and even in a segment on Total Divas Dolph did try to get back with Nikki Bella in the year 2015 and he got a tight slap in that segment as Nikki refused to get back together.
