Friday Night SmackDown has recently become the playground of WWE superstar John Cena. The leader of Cenation made his return to the company earlier this month. He quickly started feuding with The Bloodline on Fridays. This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown shed the spotlight on Cena’s tag team partner for the upcoming bout at Fastlane.
LA Knight‘s return to assist John Cena in his showdown against The Bloodline was met with excitement from fans. Originally slated to join Cena in the previous week’s event, Knight had to withdraw due to COVID-19-related concerns. However, his eventual participation added anticipation to the scheduled showdown.
WWE took to X to share the official poster of the tag team match. AJ Styles was previously announced as the tag team partner for the Peacemaker star. However, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso attacked Styles backstage last week. This left Mr. Hustle Loyalty Respect without a partner to battle the Bloodline.
John Cena came back to the WWE during the SAG-AFTRA strike. The 46-year-old has hinted at his retirement on several occasions in the recent past. He felt that his time to hang up his boots would come soon and wished to entertain the fans before his time was up. On the other hand, LA Knight is now getting the spotlight he deserves after many years of hard work. The 40-year-old star is one of the fan favorites for winning the 2024 Royal Rumble.
Bully Ray feels John Cena is the best when it comes to muscular endurance in the ring
Bully Ray, best known to the WWE Universe as Bubba Ray Dudley, praised John Cena and said only one could match him in terms of strength. On his recent appearance on the Busted Open Radio, Ray shared his thoughts on AEW star Claudio Castagnoli. He placed the Ex-WWE star just below the Greatest of All Time regarding muscular endurance.

Bully said, “When it comes to muscular endurance, Claudios is top two in the wrestling industry. The only person that I have seen Claudio go toe to toe with and strength to strength is John Cena. You go back in the day, you watch those Claudio vs. Cena matches, they’re going 20-25 minutes on TV, doing things deep into the match like roll through, high-cross body, Samoan drops.” Bully cited Cena’s match against Claudio on Monday Night Raw to back up his point.
He went on to say, “Those guys have such phenomenal muscular endurance. They train their muscles in and out of the ring to go, go and go some more and have plenty of gas left in the tank.” These were indeed high words of praise from the former WWE star to Cena and Claudio. Cena and Claudio had amazing chemistry and performed well during their matches.
