John Laurinaitis reportedly fired; WWE maintains silence for “obvious reasons”

On 21st June Laurinaitis was removed from his post till the completion of the investigation. While McMahon stepped down from WWE in all capacity on July 22nd and it is widely suspected that the move was taken due to his involvement in the scandal, it now seems that John Laurinaitis has been fired by the company as well. Fightful Select has reported that John Laurinaitis was fired from the company last week only but had maintained silence on the stance.
John was a WCW executive before joining WWE as he became an on-road agent of the team when Vince bought WCW. He then worked his way throughout the company to being promoted as the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations in 2009. He would then act as an on-air authority figure as he became the general manager of RAW and would be involved in various storylines.
Then after his onscreen firing, he resumed the role of an on-road agent again before being promoted to his post of Head at The Talent Relations and would hold it till 2022 before he was removed for the charges of sexual misconduct. It is being reported that WWE maintained silence over Laurinaitis’ departure for “obvious reasons”.
While fans believe McMahon and Laurinaitis are gone for good, the company has been taken over by Vince’s daughter Stephanie McMahon and his son-in-law Triple H who is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of The Talent Relations and The Creative Head of the company.
