Like everyone who’s followed the Cleveland Browns‘ spirited journey throughout the ongoing NFL season, Raw Superstar Johnny Gargano is also sad. Last evening, at the NRG Stadium, the Browns’ dream of making it to their third playoffs was splintered. In a wild-card showdown, the Browns went down 14-45 to the Houston Texans. Up until the halfway mark, the visiting side found itself within touching distance, in the hope of turning turtle in the second half.

However, it went south for Joe Flacco‘s side as the Texans completely ran through their counterparts’ defensive wall. Gargano, a long-time Browns fanatic, took to X, expressing much appreciation for the Cleveland Browns. He mentioned how the side was plagued with numerous injuries but still managed to equal their record for most wins in a season at 11-6.

Further, Johnny continued saying that even though it stinks not advancing any further; he had the most fun ever as a Browns fan. Not that long ago, in December, the one-half of DIY got things underway for the Browns against their home-leg clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Gargano and his wife, Candice LeRae, have been to multiple Browns games.

After all the injuries and everything the team went through.. no one would have blinked an eye if they folded in November.. Obviously, the ending REALLY sucks.. but this still ended up being one of the funnest seasons I've ever had as a #BROWNS fan!

But last year was special for them as a couple as they had their two-year-old, Quill, in their lap. Most of the comments below Gargano’s candid post on X followed suit. The fans did agree that had it not been for the injuries, the Browns would’ve made it to the next round.

Johnny Gargano has his sights set on the tag team titles

Away from all the flamboyance of American football, Johnny Gargano now has something else to take care of. He and his DIY cohort, Tommaso Ciampa, have been on a roll these past few weeks. The Rebel Heart has also vowed to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles this year.

And it may not take a long time for the duo to reach there. Having beaten Finn Balor in a singles match on last week’s Raw, the DIY’s quest to earn a title shot rolls on. This Monday on Raw, Gargano and Ciampa go to work against Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.

If the babyfaces can down The Judgment Day’s insurance policy, they may very well enter the hunt for doubles straps. Slowly but steadily, the DIY has managed to make their presence felt on the main roster. It might be a matter of time before the famed pairing comprising former NXT Champions tastes gold.
