Jon Moxley and Vince McMahon

Jon Moxley was seeking resurgence of his own character in pro-wrestling when he left WWE. He was just frustrated with his creative direction under Vince McMahon and believed that his potential was just getting drained up there. As a result of that, he himself made it clear that once his contract expires he won’t be resigning with WWE. On Raw after Wrestlemania 34, Mox spent his final night as a WWE wrestler and gave an emotional speech alongside his Shield brothers Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins after the show went off-air.

He then made his debut for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at Double Or Nothing 2019 interrupting the AEW World Champion Chris Jericho and planting him with the Paradigm Shift. The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas went totally nuts upon the arrival of Jon Moxley in their territory.

Last night on AEW Dynamite, Moxley defended his Interim AEW World Championship against CM Punk, the one who initially won that title but was forced to relinquish the gold due to an unfortunate injury. However, Punk had a great chance when he got his title shot against Jon Moxley. What went down after that honestly shocked the hell out of almost everyone as Moxley brutally squashed Punk to retain his title or more rightfully becoming the AEW Champion in full force now.

As per PWInsider, after last night’s Dynamite went off-air Moxley was addressing the people in attendance by a promo in which he although not directly mentioning about WWE, went too far for the same promotion. The AEW World Champions asked the crowd to stop wasting their time watching the crap that is being put on your television screens during Monday and Fridays nights quite obviously intending towards WWE Raw and Smackdown.

Also, he took a personal shot at Vincent Kennedy McMahon when he quoted “ignoring some old crazy man’s opinion” talking in context to Cesaro aka the current ROH Champion Claudio Castagnoli. As many know that how poorly WWE and particularly messed up things with the Swiss Cyborg.
