Bret Hart is one of the greatest wrestlers ever to set foot in the squared circle. Bret Hart was one of the first wrestlers to put technical wrestling into practice. Hart has given us inexhaustible number of great matches throughout his wrestling career and has always been involved in feuds with the best in the business.
Hart’s feud with Shawn Michaels ranks as one of the best feuds in the history of the wrestling business. No wrestler has made the Sharpshooter more popular than Bret Hart himself, and his athleticism in the ring was always a treat to watch.
Hart ‘s match against British Bulldog at SummerSlam 1992, where Bulldog was drugged up and Bret had to call the entire match, is the best example of Hart being one of the best in-ring technicians of all time.
Bret Hart was indeed an all-time great in-ring performer, but he was an average talker in the business. He always sought for improvement but never came as a natural talker. However, WWE Hall of Famer Kane is of a different opinion.
Kane, Jerry Lawler, and Bret Hart appeared on a recent episode of Table for Three. Kane gave credit to the former WWE Champion, saying that while he wasn’t the flashiest man, he was overlooked as an entertainer. He stated that whatever Hart performed with Lawler during the Kiss My Foot bout was really entertaining, and he has always felt that Hart is underappreciated for being a great entertainer.
“I always felt about you that you were never the flashiest guy…. But I also think that you’re very underrated as an entertainer…. I just have always thought that you were a great wrestler who wasn’t appreciated enough for being a great entertainer, as well.”
Bret Hart claims that he would have loved to collaborate with the former world champion

During a recent signing session at K&S WrestleFest, Bret Hart remarked that he hoped he could have worked with Rey Mysterio. In a different perspective, he suggested Mysterio was as distinctive or unique as Andre the Giant. The WWE Hall of Famer thinks that Mysterio is the only truly brilliant masked wrestler in wrestling history. Rey is among the top wrestlers, but the former WWE Champion stated that he feels Mysterio has always been the best and frequently overlooks him while listing all-time greats. Hart has always respected the former world heavyweight champion and regrets not working with Mysterio.
