Dwayne Johnson has often spoken about his early struggles in life and how his parents struggled early in the life to make their ends meet. Dwayne Johnson had revealed how they were forced to sell their house and their car getting impounded when he was young. When Dwayne was a teenager his mother attempted suicide by walking into an incoming traffic, while Johnson’s mother has no memory of that event but the trauma remains with him till today. Dwayne Johnson has even struggled to make a mark in WWE in his initial days of his career.
Dwayne Johnson debuted in WWE in 1996 under the ring name Rocky Maivia. He won the WWF Intercontinental Championship in February 1997 by defeating Triple H. He successfully defended the championship against Rikishi and Triple H. The early success and push received animosity from the WWF fans, who thought that WWF was trying to impose the third generation superstar on them. The crowd often chanted and yelled “Die, Rocky Die” and “Rocky Sucks.” Thereafter he change his persona and the gimmick “The Rock” was born and the rest is history.

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart are known for their amazing chemistry on and off screen. Johnson and Hart have starred together in several movies such as Central Intelligence, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw, Jumanji: The Next Level, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and now as voice artists have worked alongside in DC League of Super-Pets.
Dwayne and Kevin have developed a bond that most on-screen couples can only dream of. The relationship between them has also displayed them gleefully tear on each other. The most recent they roasted each other was at the press tour for their most recent collaboration, DC League of Super-Pets. They both serve as an example of how two best friends can lob A+ insults at one other. While Dwayne has his moments, Kevin’s top-notch trolling and comic timing are unrivalled. Nothing is off bounds, even Dwayne Johnson’s recent purchase of a completely furnished home for his mother, has made Kevin Hart to viciously skewer him.
In an interview, Kevin Hart made a joke about Dwayne Johnson finally buying his mother a house after making a billion dollars. Hart went on to ask if we should applaud and claimed that everyone in the interview room was having the same thought.
“About time. A billion dollars later, he finally bought his mom a house. Should we clap for that? I think the whole room is thinking the same thing. It’s about fuc***g time. ‘Hey, mom! Look what I got you. You can get out of that duplex.”
DC League of Super pets will release on July 29th and also stars Kate McKinnon and John Krasinski in voice over roles.
