Nick Khan might be the reason for taking WWE global. However, did he actually landed Philadelphia as next year’s WrestleMania host? Hold up, it was Kevin Hart. Or maybe not? The versatile comedian recently joked about bringing WrestleMania to Philly. And guess what, he discussed that with Dwayne Johnson out of everyone. Whenever the latter’s name looms in the vicinity of WrestleMania, it gets everyone excited.
The said conversation was taken from Kevin Hart’s ‘Hart to Heart‘ series on Peacock. In the beginning, Dwayne asked Kevin whether he knows that WrestleMania to going to be in Philadelphia next year. In turn, Hart enquired Johnson about the driving force who made that possible. After The Great One seemed sceptic on the matter, Kevin said it was him. He joked that Nick Khan, the WWE CEO, rang him up at 2 am.
Hart said Khan was in a state of great panic. So, in turn, the former called the executives in The City of Brotherly Love to let WWE have their biggest show there. Then, Dwayne Johnson asked whether he can call Nick Khan to confirm this. Obviously, Hart chuckled a bit and advised his on-screen partner to never do it. They made an agreement to keep everything a secret.
During the chat, The Brahma Bull also teased his appearance at next year’s Showcase of the Immortals. Could that mean something? Well, of course not. He always stays cognizant about WWE ventures. However, that doesn’t means he’s definitely going to be a part of it. As always, there’s just too much on his plate. He’s a semi-retired wrestler and it’s highly sceptic whether he’ll ever lace the boots to compete again.
Will Dwayne Johnson make an appearance at WrestleMania 40?

At most, The Black Adam star can grace the WWE Universe through a one-off appearance at WrestleMania next year. As reported previously, Triple H has kept the door open for The Rock to have a spot in Philly. It was heavily speculated that Johnson could be a part of WrestleMania this year. Especially, the Hollywood theme seemed like a perfect alignment of stars to make it happen.
However, it ended up in the middle of nowhere. Johnson had XFL’s launch on the horizon in addition to other commitments. Also, despite fans refusing to lose their hope, the People’s Champ might’ve already had his last match in WWE. That said, his widely anticipated dream showdown against Roman Reigns might never happen. Anyways, in the domain of pro-wrestling, they have something which says “Never say never“.
