Kevin Owens is one of the talented WWE wrestlers of the current generation. The former Universal Champion hasn’t been involved in the championship scenario in recent times and the last time he fought for a major championship in the company was at the Day 1 Premium Live event.
He fought for the WWE Championship match in the fatal four-way match at the Day 1 live event but failed to win it. Owens has been donning his prizefighter gimmick since August of this month and hasn’t held a championship for the last five years in the WWE.
The last time Owens held a championship in the WWE was the United States Championship in 2017. Thereafter, he hasn’t been able to win anything. Being Triple H’s favourite, we can expect something big for Owens under The Game’s regime.
Kevin Owens’ most recent match on the main roster occurred on the September 30th edition of SmackDown, where he teamed up with Johnny Gargano, Drew McIntyre and defeated the Alpha Academy and Austin Theory.
During a recent chat with The Happy Hour, Owens spoke about the presentation of the shows under the Triple H’s regime. Since Triple H came over as Chief Content Officer, the bouts and mindset behind them, according to Kevin Owens, have been unique. According to Owens, being in the locker room and at the performance center is simply a different way of thinking about what they do now.
“Just the presentation of the show has been different, and the matches and the mentality behind them, and the perspective … I don’t know if that makes a whole lot of sense to somebody that’s just watching at home, but to us in the locker room and the Performance Center, I think it’s just kind of a different way of thinking about what we do now.”

Kevin Owens discussed his new WWE persona in the same interview. He stated that he now believes himself to be a better nice guy than a bad guy, and that many people have informed him that he is capable of portraying any character. Owens stated that he is simply grateful to be performing his work at the company. Kevin Owens has spent most of his career as a heel, and his work as a comedic heel has been some of the finest of his career.
