WWE is bringing the Elimination Chamber to Australia and looks forward to its first International event in 2024. The Optus Stadium in Perth will host the event next weekend, on Saturday, February 24. The show has traditional Chamber matches meant for the opportunity to face World Champions at WrestleMania 40. One of those participants is also Kevin Owens, who is hyped to join the steel structure.
In an exclusive backstage segment of SmackDown, Owens stated that this year’s iteration will be the biggest. He credited that for the biggest Chamber match too, especially due to its grandeur structure in Perth. Owens is excited to wrestle in front of thousands of people on that continent who have been waiting for a long time now. Elimination Chamber 2024 can not get any bigger than this, with WrestleMania on schedule.
The Prizefighter stated that the Chamber will give WrestleMania 40 a run for its money considering the magnitude of the event and what it means to the fans out there. He showed his readiness and claimed how dangerous the structure is, but he is all in to give his 100 percent. Owens would give his all in Perth.
WrestleMania is huge, but Elimination Chamber is gonna give WrestleMania a run for its money as far as the sheer magnitude of the event and what it means to everybody. Chamber, bring it on, as risky as it is, as dangerous as it is. I'm all in, I'm gonna give everything I have, I'm gonna leave it all in Perth.Kevin Owens about Elimination Chamber Perth 2024
Kevin qualified for the Chamber by defeating Dominik Mysterio on SmackDown. Later that night, his current hot rival, United States Champion, Logan Paul, also booked his ticket to battle in the six-person steel structure. The duo came from a bout at Royal Rumble 2024, where Owens came out unsuccessful. It is expected that Chamber is only a boiling point for them as an official rematch for the US Title at Mania.
Dominik Mysterio will be at the Elimination Chamber for The Judgment Day
All the titleholders in The Judgment Day will have their championships on the line at the Elimination Chamber Perth 2024. Being in their home country, Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax will battle it out for the former’s World Women’s Championship. An expected ending would still be electric for the Perth crowd.
Having the undeclared leader of The Judgment Day in a singles match, Rhea’s “Dirty” Dom will be accompanying her for support. In an exclusive segment after SmackDown, Dominik Mysterio stated that he was unable to book a ticket for Chamber. However, his presence in Perth will be for his faction.
I may have not qualified for the Chamber, but Dirty Dom is still to be in Perth supporting The Judgment Day because Finn and Damian are gonna stay Undisputed Tag Team Champions. Rhea is gonna wipe the floor with Nia Jax in her home country. And I just can't wait to be by their side.“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio about his presence at Elimination Chamber Perth 2024
Damian Priest and Finn Balor would be in action with the New Catch Republic. The Judgment Day would put their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on the line against the duo of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate. Dominik could also be a shenanigan in this match and change the course for the sake of his team.
