Kurt Angle was a great wrestler as well as a great entertainer during his time in the WWE. He involved himself in storylines that featured comedic as well as intense segments and made sure that the crowd was entertained. Kurt was one of the vital parts of the WWE in early 2000s and one of the key players in the development of the SmackDown Brand during the early 2000s. Kurt Angle, who provided some of the finest battles in pro wrestling history, was in fact a wrestling machine and a tireless worker.
Kurt Angle had a decent second run in the company, doing jobs such as the RAW General Manager and competing in several bouts. He was released in 2020 due to budget cuts but has since then appeared sporadically in the company, with the most recent being on August 29th Edition of RAW, where he celebrated the Street Profits’ win against The Alpha Academy by drinking milk with them. Similar to 2002, Edge also played a backstage prank on Angle by utilizing the posters.

Kurt Angle fought against Mark Henry on the February 7th, 2000 edition of RAW
Kurt Angle has a YouTube account where he hosts podcasts, shares details about his professional wrestling career, and discusses other stories. Mae Young, a WWE Hall of Famer, and Mark Henry participated in a storyline in late 1999 and early 2000 that focused on them as a romantic pair.
According to the storyline, Young was portrayed as pregnant, and on one occasion, Mark Henry had advised Mae Young not to attend his match against Angle on RAW on February 7th, 2000. Young went with Henry despite the instructions and even received an Angle Slam from Kurt Angle.
The match was won by Kurt Angle and is a memorable one due to the Angle Slam delivered to Mae Young. During an edition of his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle discussed the segment. He said that Mae Young had told him to slam as hard as he could and had said that she wanted to feel it.
“She wanted me to Angle Slam her as hard as I could. That night before the match she came up to me, and she said, ‘Hey, I want you to spike the sh*t out of me, I want you to slam me as hard as you can. I want to f***ing feel it.’ I’m just like, ‘Oh my god, this lady wants me to spike her as hard as I can,”
Mae young was 77 at the time but expressed enthusiasm for the Angle Slam from Kurt Angle.
