WWE Hall of Famer regrets not having a UFC run after seeing friends like Brock Lesnar and Randy Couture become UFC Champions
Many WWE Superstars have longed to have a career in the UFC and one of them is WWE legend Kurt Angle.

Kurt Angle is one of the best in-ring performers of his generation. His pro wrestling career has been star-studded. However, recently, he talked about the offers he denied from the UFC during his career in pro wrestling. Later on, he talked about looking up to his friends Brock Lesnar and Randy Couture for doing good in the UFC and regretting his decision.
In an interview with ESPN, Kurt said that once in a while, he looked at the fights in MMA. Angle felt like he could’ve done pretty well in the UFC. Moreover, he admitted that after seeing his friends Brock Lesnar and Randy Couture become UFC Champions, he regrets not going to the promotion. The WWE Hall of Famer said that he still doubts whether he made the right decision by denying three offers from the UFC.
However, Kurt Angle said, “You know what? I had a pretty stellar career in pro wrestling.’ So, I can’t regret that.” The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that he was approached a number of times by the UFC before he moved on to Total Non-stop Action (TNA). He had a remarkable career in TNA and is considered one of the legends in the promotion.
Kurt Angle is considered one of the top veterans in the pro wrestling industry. He has had an illustrious career, winning multiple championships. His feats in WWE and other promotions make him one of the most venerated names. Moreover, Kurt Angle is an Olympic gold medalist and he had a remarkable career in WWE.

Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle is one of the best wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring. However, his illustrious career doesn’t have any five-star matches. Ratings for the matches are given by Wrestling Observer Dave Meltzer. Kurt Angle recently talked about not having a single five-star match in his career, and he doesn’t seem bothered by it.
Angle was in a conversation on Insight with Chris Van Vilet, where he talked about Dave Meltzer’s ratings. Kurt said, “It’s his opinion, I will respect that,” the Hall of Famer praised Meltzer for having good knowledge regarding wrestling. Angle said Meltzer might not like the style of his wrestling.
The WWE legend didn’t seem bothered by not having any five-star matches. Furthermore, he mentioned some of his matches, which are worthy of being five-star. He highlighted his matches with The Undertaker at No Way Out 2006 and with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21.
