Multi-time World Champion Kurt Angle has landed a major movie role. In what would be his first motion picture appearance in nearly a decade, the 55-year-old will feature alongside UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture. Speaking on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic Gold Medalist revealed that the producers don’t have a date set in stone as of now. However, it should be within the next six weeks.

Further, he disclosed that the movie would be named The Ranch. And he’s joining the cast with Randy Couture as brothers. Angle went into more details, like saying he’s going to be a “scumbag” brother, while Randy is slated for a war hero showing. Kurt was not done spilling the beans when he told that Michael Tadross would be someone he and Couture are working with.

For the unversed, the former Paramount Pictures executive has produced movies like Indecent Proposal, Die Hard with a Vengeance, and much more. It’s going to be a fun venture for Angle. He has not been in a major on-screen role since Breck Eisner’s The Last Witch Hunter.

Angle last appeared in WWE on the 30th anniversary of Raw. He accompanied DX to the ring until the legendary crew noticed a fly on the wall being Angle. Upon being asked by Road Dogg what he was doing out there, Kurt responded that he always wanted to be in DX.

Does Kurt Angle have any WWE plans on the horizon?

Even though it would be too much of a physical ask from Kurt Angle, he hasn’t completely ruled it out. In a recent interview with Steel City Con, he confirmed being under a contract with WWE.

The Wrestling Machine seemed confident about the company potentially calling him up for something, be it a Royal Rumble appearance or a one-off gig at WrestleMania.

Angle had his retirement match against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. The famed athlete came up short as he suffered an anti-climatic end to his decades-long wrestling career.

This year, with Triple H firmly in the creative mix, he may have something up his sleeves for Kurt Angle. With just over a week left for the Royal Rumble, the speculation is widening as to which WWE legend the fans could expect to pop up.
