On the latest episode of SmackDown, the devil inside LA Knight finally awakened as he attacked AJ Styles in a pretty chaotic home invasion segment. The police body cameras captured the arrest of The Megastar as both superstars engaged in a tenacious brawl. Later on in the show, the commentators informed viewers of the aftermath.
WWE revealed that LA Knight invaded AJ Styles‘ home last night. When The Phenomenal One was addressing the WWE Universe from the comfort of his home, he heard an excessive honking of a car. It was none other than The Megastar who wasted no time pummeling the former WWE Champion. Following his arrest, it was confirmed by the commentators that Styles did not press any charges against Knight, and he was later released.
Just a few days ago, the 41-year-old star sent a warning to Styles that it wouldn’t be a problem for him even if he didn’t appear on the show. Fans speculated that The Megastar was going to invade his house and attack him, and that’s exactly what ended up happening on SmackDown.
Now, the stakes are higher than ever, with both superstars set to go against each other at WrestleMania. In a match driven by revenge and hate, fans have speculated that a stipulation might be added. It will be interesting to see who finally ends the rivalry standing over his adversary’s body.
LA Knight claims that he is enjoying his current WWE run
Although LA Knight is one of the biggest superstars in WWE right now, his road to stardom wasn’t easy at all. He constantly had to prove to the people why he belonged at the top of the mountain in WWE. Now, at this stage of his career, he feels much more happy and is enjoying the backstage environment as well.
While speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, the 41-year-old revealed that he is in a much happier state right now than he ever was. Although Knight admitted he had to do a lot of grinding to get to this position, he is now enjoying his time in the company and even trying to be more open with his co-workers.
For so long, it's just kind of more of a grind and work than it is like fun and enjoyment. But, I will say I think as of late and I don't know if it's just the locker room environment or what but I have been having more fun, like hanging with the boys and I've been opening myself more to that.LA Knight on Busted Open podcast
Knight praised the new era under the Triple H regime in many interviews and said the atmosphere has certainly changed in WWE. As of now, he is fully focused on his match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania, but fans expect him to win a major championship in the near future.
