During last night's WWE live event in Kansas City, LA Knight launched a sneak attack on Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

For the first time since SummerSlam, Roman Reigns competed in a match this past Saturday. He defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn. Of course, the result was predictable, as Reigns easily retained his title over the former Honorary Uce. However, he didn’t get any time to celebrate as LA Knight jumped on him from behind.
The Megastar drove Reigns’ face straight into the canvas, courtesy of the BFT. Neither Solo Sikoa nor Jimmy Uso were able to neutralize the wrath of the former Eli Drake. The Tribal Chief barely escaped harm’s way and was completely battered by the looks. LA Knight took the microphone and proclaimed, “You will call me Champ…you will even call me Chief.”
The crowd’s hostility added to Reigns’ agony, as the ambiance at the T-Mobile Arena was exactly the opposite of what the champion would’ve liked. As the fans saw on SmackDown this week, LA Knight confronted Roman Reigns for the very first time in his WWE career.
In the main event, LA Knight defeated Solo Sikoa but ended up getting a wicked spear from Roman Reigns. The closing shot of the episode suggested which route WWE’s about to take. It’s clear as daylight that The Megastar will receive the match of his career against The Tribal Chief, quite possibly at Crown Jewel.

Roman Reigns met his biggest nightmare on SmackDown this week
Even though Reigns needs to avert the storm known as LA Knight first, the former has someone else looking dead in his eyes too. In one of the biggest stories coming out of SmackDown this week, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes came face-to-face. Without even uttering a word, that stare down sent chills through everyone.
SmackDown’s general manager, Nick Aldis, eventually broke the deadlock and asked both Reigns and Cody to calm down. Even though the SmackDown GM was successful in keeping the two apart, there’s still a business that needs to be settled. That faceoff did more than anything for WWE.
They teased a blockbuster rematch between them, which now seems like a lock for WrestleMania 40 at this point. Who could ever forget the heartbreak Rhodes had to suffer this year in Los Angeles when The Bloodline defied him with a triumph over Roman Reigns? It took numerous exponents to soften up The American Nightmare.
