“He is a Physical Specimen” Former WWE Superstar Heaps Praise on LA Knight

LA Knight is finally back on SmackDown and is looking to re-establish himself after the Max Dupri gimmick didn’t work for the former Million Dollar Champion. He had announced a couple of weeks ago that he was done with the gimmick and didn’t want to do it anymore. Last week on SmackDown he officially reverted back to his NXT Gimmick LA Knight.
Before making a transition into the character of Max Dupri, he had indefinite popularity that he earned in NXT as The LA Knight. Fearless and Ferocious on the mic, and top charisma in the ring as well. Last week he had told Maxxine Dupri that he is done with The Maximum Male Models and he is not Max Dupri anymore but he is the LA Knight.
LA Knight officially debuts on SmackDown, Gets Praised by Former WWE Superstar Paul London
He attacked The Maximum Male Models Mansoor and Mace to make things worse, after which a match was set up between him and Mansoor for 14 th October’s edition of SmackDown. Thus, this week he officially debuted as the LA Knight for the first time to take on his former stable mate.
Knight was able to pull off a comfortable victory over Mansoor and after the match addressed the WWE Universe that they might be thinking that he is doing it for them but that is not the case. Knight put out a notice for fans and superstars on the roster that “they can get their ticket punched whenever they like”.
He also said that this was his game now and told every superstar on the roster to mark this date,thus indicating a possible heel turn. Though the crowd’s response for Knight remained lukewarm, he has now been praised by a former WWE Superstar.
Paul London on the latest edition of Café de Rene podcast praised LA Knight’s work that he has been doing lately. While speaking to Rene Dupree on the podcast he said- “I think he’s extremely talented. He’s a great personality, great on the microphone. He doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel. He doesn’t try to do anything crazy that is beyond his persona or beyond his limits.”
London further added that he doesn’t mean that he has been limited by any means but also called him “a physical specimen”. He said that he really enjoys Knight’s work and he has not seen that lately in WWE since his arrival. London thinks Knight looks great and has a bright future ahead. Now with a heel character we need to see what the company has in store for him in the upcoming future.
