LA Knight in MSG live show
Following his success in wrestling all around the world, LA Knight signed with WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, in 2021. He eventually showed that he has the skills and charisma to become a top star in the company. In less than a year, Knight was called up to the main roster on an episode of Raw in January 2022. He transformed himself into Max Dupree, introducing Maximum Male Models. However, the gimmick didn’t last long as he returned to the ring with his original character.
LA Knight is currently a part of the SmackDown roster and has had a reputable run so far. He was also involved in a high-profile feud with the returning Bray Wyatt last year that lasted until the Royal Rumble in January. However, the rivalry was so entertaining but it ended with a horrible Pitch Black match at the Rumble. After getting done with Wyatt, Knight has been chasing the Intercontinental title and is not involved in any particular feud currently.
However, he has been constantly mentioning that “you can’t have WrestleMania in LA without LA Knight”. On the road to WrestleMania 39, LA knight recently appeared in a WWE Live event at Madison Square Garden. He interacted with the fans in attendance at the MSG, also getting a warm reaction from the crowd.
LA Knight has been incredibly entertaining on the mic throughout his main roster run. Considering the reaction from the MSG crowd, it’s clearly evident that he is so through with the fans currently. With his fantastic charisma and ecstatic reaction from the fans, WWE might be planning something big for LA Knight in the near future. You can watch the clip from MSG here.

LA Knight is rumoured to face Steve Austin at WrestleMania this year

On the most recent episode of SmackDown, LA Knight competed in a fatal five-way match to earn the Intercontinental title opportunity at WrestleMania. However, he failed to capture the victory and is officially out of the title picture now.
On the road to WrestleMania, multiple reports are suggesting that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is buckling up for another in-ring return at WrestleMania 39. The Texas Rattlesnake is rumoured to take on none other than LA Knight at the Showcase of the Immortals.
The promo battle between the two would be a treat to watch if the rumours are to be believed. While many believe Austin should stay retired, but one more squash match at Mania is not too much to ask for.
