LA Knight has to be one of the most organically fan favorite superstars in WWE history. He has incredible wrestling skills and is one of the best guys on that microphone. This week on SmackDown in London, he received the biggest pop of the night. He interrupted The Grayson Waller Effect, which had Logan Paul as the special guest. Minutes after Paul bragged about how he was going to unhook that Money in the Bank briefcase, Knight’s music hit and the place went bonkers.

Some may even term it “Stone Cold pop.” However, given that it’s becoming a staple of WWE programming, it surely has LA Knight’s name written over it. Once Knight grabbed the microphone, he let everyone know who the real megastar was. The 40-year-old highlighted how The Maverick has been handed stuff so far in his WWE run. On the contrary, Knight wasn’t shoved down anyone’s throat.

Logan Paul somehow tried to get under LA Knight’s skin. The YouTube sensation said that Knight was supposed to be a 40-year-old manager in WWE. Also, the Prime owner made a controversial claim against Knight when he questioned him about the former Eli Drake’s lackluster 20-year wrestling career. Knight received massive support from fans with the packed O2 arena uttering “LA Knight, Yeah!“, at the top of their lungs.

Before they could talk more, Santos Escobar crashed the party. The LWO member quoted his stance and why winning that briefcase means the world to him. Following Escobar, Butch made his way out. However, unlike his counterparts, he was not in the mood to talk trash. He ran down that aisle and launched himself into Logan Paul. A brawl then broke out amongst all the combustible elements as the show went on commercial.

Is LA Knight going to script history at Money in the Bank?

Ever since qualifying for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, LA Knight has been tossed around as a potential favorite to bag the prize. His booking on the main roster lacked continuity and even got ridiculously puzzling at times. He kicked off big with a feud against Bray Wyatt back in November. The two men battled it out in a Pitch Black match at this year’s Royal Rumble.

That’s the rivalry that put the self-proclaimed megastar on the map. Ever since WrestleMania 39, he’s been growing in popularity. Recently, the former Million Dollar Champion revealed how he felt after being left out of the festivities in Los Angeles this year. Despite being snubbed for a WrestleMania spot, Knight grew insanely popular among the fans.

At this point, he’s certainly a red-hot favorite to unhook that MITB contract tomorrow night. Several backstage entities are somewhat pushing for the 40-year-old to have his breakthrough moment at the O2 Arena this Saturday. Apart from him, Logan Paul and Damian Priest are being considered as other options for the prestigious contract.
